Welcome to the Keyboard Ponderings blog! Several months ago I started tossing the idea around in my head about creating a YouTube channel and posting videos of my new piano. Wouldn’t it be great if I had a place to share my music with friends and family? I’ve been stuck in a rut musically speaking for the past 30 years and could use the motivation to achieve some goals.
So in early September 2019 I launched a new YouTube channel by the name of Keyboard Ponderings. At the time of writing this article, I’ve posted three videos and have a small handful of followers. My hope is to grow my audience so that I can share my love of music with as many people as possible.
Each video I post will be accompanied by a short article in which I’ll share some unique or meaningful piece of information about the music or composer, what it means to me and why I selected that piece of music. I’m not a professional musician, but I have been playing pretty much my entire life. I may share more on my musical background in a later post.
